The head of one of the departments of the State Tax Service of Bishkek was detained and placed in a temporary detention center by the decision of the Pervomayskiy court. This was reported by the press service of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes.

“On September 21 of this year, the head of one of the departments of the Internal Revenue Service in the Leninsky District of Bishkek was detained by the officers of the Anti-Corruption Service. It was found that he, in collusion with other employees of the tax service, abusing his official position, contributed to the illegal issuance of patents in the name of citizens of Kyrgyzstan, without their knowledge and participation. As a result, consumer goods were imported under their names from the EES countries, from which taxes were not paid to the state budget of about $ 75.9 thousand (6 million soms), ”the Financial Police said.
