According to the investigator, the verdict was passed in Nur-Sultan last week in the case of Askarbek Userbaev, the former deputy chairman of the board of Housing Company of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that Housing Company of Kazakhstan is a single operator of state housing construction in Kazakhstan.

At the trial, it was established that Userbaev received a bribe of $ 5.7 thousand from the director of FN Management Askhat Tazhibaev in February this year for signing acts of work performed under the agreement on the provision of services to a property management organization. By the court verdict, Userbaev was fined $ 171.4 thousand, and Tazhibaev – $ 114.2 thousand.

Meanwhile, in Almaty region, the sentence was passed to the former first deputy head of the Police Department on Transport Erbol Bekenov.

As the employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency established during the investigation, Bekenov patronized the employees of the company “Fuel and energy complex – Kazakhstan”, who stole diesel fuel from the warehouse for a total of $ 843,000, and then sold the stolen fuel at gas stations.

For patronage of criminals and abuse of office, Bekenov received three and a half years in prison.

The employees of the company “Fuel and energy complex – Kazakhstan” were also sentenced to various terms – from 7 to 8 years in a general regime colony.

The investigator for especially important cases, Bigaydarov, also mentioned another high-profile case, about which ACCA had already written.

We are talking about the deputy mayor of Kostanay region, Rustam Sadykov, who was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison for obstructing entrepreneurial activity.

And in Kyzylorda region, the trial in the case of the chief specialist of the Regional Department of Entrepreneurship and Tourism has ended.

For a small fee of $ 600-700, he helped entrepreneurs to receive grants under the state program for business development. As a result of his actions, the budget of the state program lost about $ 24,000.

Under the court’s verdict, the official received a suspended three-year sentence and a fine of $ 50,000.
