In Tajikistan, doctors are forced to discharge patients with coronavirus

Authorities are forced to discharge patients with coronavirus in order to fudge statistics under the officially announced one. Recall, on April 30, the Tajik government officially recognized that there are 15 people with coronavirus in the country.

The head of the department of one of the hospitals in Dushanbe informed ACCA that they are forced to discharge all patients who have no fever.

“We were threatened with dismissal and told that we should urgently discharge many patients despite the fact that the two-week quarantine has not yet ended, and these patients can infect other people,” the doctor said. “As I was told, such a decree was issued by the Minister of Health.”

A doctor from one of the hospitals in northern Tajikistan confirmed this information, noting that the authorities are afraid of the commission.

“We were told that the commission would arrive soon. They will recount all patients, so their number should not exceed the official statistics announced by the government,” the doctor noted. “We don’t know what to do, because we have no moral right to do so. Discharging sick people, we doom them to death. Moreover, they will infect others.”

Recall that today the delegation of the World Health Organization arrives in Tajikistan. It intends to help Tajik doctors in the fight against coronavirus.

Today, several thousand people are in Tajik hospitals with suspected coronavirus. 5-10 deaths are reported daily.
