In Kyrgyzstan, two defendants were beaten in jail
In Bishkek’s pre-trial detention center, two defendants were beaten. The State Penitentiary Service (SPS) said that there was a fight in the pre-trial detention center, but the fact that the victims had broken arms was denied. However, on the BespredelKG Telegram channel, the photo shows that both have hands in plaster.
Recall, on August 28, two men were brutally beaten during a fight in Bishkek. One of them came out of a coma, the second will have an operation.
The suspects, Zhanybek Bapyshov and Kalysbek Seyitbekov, gave themselves up. They were detained and put in jail No.1. They are charged with “attempted murder”.
ACCA became aware that on September 19, Zhanybek Bapyshov and Kalysbek Seyitbekov were brutally beaten in Bishkek’s jail No.1. After the incident, both of them were transferred to the hospital of correctional colony No.47. However, on September 21, they were transferred back to the pre-trial detention center.
According to the SPS, doctors did not find serious injuries.
In addition, against the employees who released the suspects from the crime scene, they opened a criminal case, but released them under house arrest. Later, the State Committee for National Security detained the Interior Ministry officer Kazybek Bapyshov; he turned out to be a relative of the accused. It is clarified that it was he who took them from the crime scene to hide the crime.
