In Kyrgyzstan, corruption scheme for embezzlement of budget money was revealed

Employees of the State Committee for National Security established that officials of the Office of Physical Culture and Sports of Bishkek City Hall appropriated about $43 000.

“The head of this Department, in collusion with reporters, organized the systematic appropriation of budgetary funds through fictitious paperwork about the alleged departure of athletes to training camps. In particular, the embezzlement of $43 000 (3 million KGS) was established,” the State Committee for National Security reports.

On this fact, pre-trial proceedings are carried out and registered in the Unified Register according to Article 320 of Part 2 “Abuse of official position” of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
