In Kazakhstan, a school accountant misappropriated more than $60 000
In Kazakhstan, the fight against corruption continues despite quarantine. The other day, in Atyrau region, the chief accountant of secondary school No. 22 of Zhylyoi district was convicted.
According to the press service of the Regional Committee for Financial Monitoring, it was found that the school accountant, using her official position, stole budget funds for a total of $62 300.
The court sentenced the chief accountant to 5 years of imprisonment with life deprivation of right to occupy senior positions in state institutions.
