Turkmenistan: Imprisoned human rights defender is in dire straits

According to independent media in Turkmenistan, Mansur Mingelov, a human rights defender for ethnic Baloch people living in Turkmenistan, is in critical condition.

Mingelov is serving a sentence in the strict regime colony LB-K / 11 in Seydi, Lebap velayat. After suffering from tuberculosis, he developed acute osteomyelitis in the form of a complication. Relatives cannot give him critically needed drugs due to the ban on dating due to the spread of Covid-19 in the colonies.

Mingelov has a high fever and intoxication due to the spread of pus throughout the body. Now he was transferred to the sanitary part of the colony.

Recall that during the arrest and interrogation, Mansur Mingelov’s bones were broken. The administration of the colony completely ignores the situation that threatens the life of the human rights defender.
