Kyrgyzstan: MP was detained while trying to sell 50 kg of drugs

50 kilograms of drugs and $ 250,000 were seized from the deputy of Kadamzhay Council of Batken region. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security.

In the city of Kadamzhay in Batken region, a local councilor was detained while trying to sell a consignment of drugs with the aim of further transporting them to Uzbekistan.

“During a personal search of the deputy and his brother, 50 kg of drugs and $ 250,000 were found. At present, a complex of operational-search measures is being carried out to identify the organizers of this drug channel,” the State Committee for National Security explained.
