Kazakhstan: judge was detained for bribe of $ 30,000

Another corrupt judge was detained in Kazakhstan. According to the press service of the Anti-Corruption Agency, in Karaganda, while receiving a bribe, the judge of the Specialized Inter-District Economic Court, Yerzhan Gabdullin, was detained.

The press service of the Regional Court of Karaganda region confirmed the detention. Moreover, in their official message it is said that the arrest of the lover of easy money was carried out by the forces of anti-corruption officers from the capital bureau of the department.

According to various Kazakh Telegram channels, Gabdullin was pinched on the evening of February 5. During a search in his house, a large sum of money was found and seized.

As for the bribe, as some insider Telegram channels suggest, this money was intended to assist in solving a court case in favor of the construction company “Olivia”, which is engaged in the construction of housing under various government programs.
