Kyrgyzstan: detainee cut his veins and sewed up his mouth

In Kyrgyzstan, a member of an organized criminal group, who was detained on suspicion of extortion, cut his veins in a temporary detention center and sewed up his mouth. ACCA was informed about this by the suspect’s lawyer.

According to the lawyer Samat Matsakov, in this way, his client protested against the information in the media that he was allegedly a member of the organized criminal group of the well-known crime boss Kamchy Kolbaev.

“My client declares that he is not involved in the organized criminal group,” Matsakov said.

In addition, the man reported that physical force was used against him during the arrest and psychological pressure was exerted on him. On this fact, the prosecutor accepted a statement from the detainee on November 2.
