Kyrgyzstan: another attack on journalists

For the second day in Kyrgyzstan, rallies of disaffected with the results of the past parliamentary elections have been held.

Today, on October 6, during the rally of supporters of the parties that lost the elections, there was an attack on journalists of Reporter.kg, 24.kg and Kloop.kg.

According to the journalists, they tried to take away the camera from the operators of Kloop.kg and the mobile phones from the representatives of Reporter.kg and 24.kg, with the help of which they broadcasted live.

It should be noted that the members of the Central election commission gathered for an emergency meeting, within the framework of which the issue of the legitimacy of the elections was discussed. Based on the results of the discussions, they made the decision to annul the results of the parliamentary elections.
