An employee of the interregional Office of the Probation Department in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions was detained red-handed while receiving a bribe.
“It was established that the chief specialist of the probation department in the city of Osh extorted $ 500 for assistance in the parole of a criminal record. As a result of the investigative and operational measures, an employee of the Probation Department was detained while receiving a bribe, ”the State Committee said.
A preventive measure was chosen in respect to her in the form of detention in pre-trial detention facility number 53 of the State Penitentiary Service. She is suspected of committing a crime based on Article 326 “Extortion of a bribe” of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
