On the fact of the appropriation and embezzlement of the entrusted property, the former director of the municipal enterprise Chistota (Tazalyk) was detained. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan.

It was established that in 2019 Chistota (Tazalyk) acquired fuel and lubricants worth more than $ 1 million to carry out its activities. It is delivered by fuel companies to the municipal enterprise in the form of coupons and is transferred to materially responsible persons against a waybill.

However, the former director of the municipal enterprise, acting in preliminary agreement with the chief accountant and operators, illegally appropriated and squandered fuel coupons.

“In particular, in 2019, the facts of the use of fuel coupons by Chistota (Tazalyk) company in the Chuy and Talas regions in the quantity of 30.530 liters worth more than $ 12.6 thousand (1 million soms) were established, while the enterprise’s activity is limited to Bishkek.  According to the audit formal note of the Accounts Chamber, the number of cached fuel coupons outside the city of Bishkek for 2019 amounted to $ 13.5 thousand (1 million 66.1 thousand soms), ”the SCNS reported.

Materials of pre-trial proceedings are registered in the Unified Register on the grounds of a crime under paragraph 2 of part 3 of Article 205 “Assignment or embezzlement of entrusted property” of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
