In Kyrgyzstan, judge was detained when receiving a bribe

The judge of Pervomaisky district of Bishkek, Maksat Orozbakova, was caught red-handed while receiving a bribe in the amount of $2000. The Financial police of Kyrgyzstan reported this.

It was noted that the detention was carried out by the Financial police on March 12. Currently, pre-trial proceedings are ongoing, and a circle of involved persons is being established.

“Orozbakova extorted money for a favorable decision of a civil case,” the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes specified.

It is worth noting that Orozbakova was appointed judge of Pervomaisky district in the summer of 2018.
