Uzbekistan: quarantine for those arriving from China was a fiction

The Telegram channel Troll.uz informed subscribers about the attitude of the authorities towards fellow citizens who arrived from China. One of the relatives of the passengers cited facts of falsification by the state in organizing quarantine.

All arriving from China by charter flights are placed in specialized medical institutions of Tashkent and Tashkent region, where they will be quarantined for 14 days under the supervision of medical personnel. According to the country’s MFA, the plane delivered 250 citizens of Uzbekistan. On board were also medical workers and virologists with modern protective equipment. If in the airplane there were taken unprecedented safety measures against the risk of infection with coronavirus, then in their homeland the situation was different.

It seems that the sanatorium “Buston” was not ready to accept people for quarantine.

Uzbek citizens in social networks write that “everyone is given one disposable mask per day. According to the rules, in order not to infect or become infected, a disposable mask should be changed every hour. When they ask to give another mask, they are refused. Quarantined people at the same time eat in the common dining room. Naturally, when eating, everyone takes off the mask. Moreover, all of them used one thermometer, passing from one person to another. Meanwhile, without disinfecting it. What kind of quarantine is it?!”
