The authenticity of the deputies’ declarations will be checked by the Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan

The Prosecutor General’s office received conclusions from the State Tax Service for additional verification of declarations of more than 70 deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament.

The conclusions of the Tax Service about possible violations on the part of the deputies were received as a result of the audit of declarations for 2018 submitted in 2019.

“In total, according to declarations for 2018, information from the Tax Service regarding 14 374 state and municipal employees, as well as employees of state institutions who provided uncertain information about property and income for 2018, or were not submitted at all, was transmitted to the Prosecutor General’s office,” the press service specifies.

It is noted that among those, whose declarations will be verified by the Prosecutor General’s office, are employees of the government apparatus, Parliament, the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Chamber, and more than 4000 deputies of representative bodies of local self-government.
