In Kyrgyzstan, Tax service officer was detained for extortion

The State Committee for National Security during the operational-search measures in Bishkek, while receiving a bribe in the amount of $286 (20 000 KGS), red-handedly detained an employee of the state Tax service of Lenin district.

The investigation team found that the detainee extorted money from a private entrepreneur for patronage and resolving tax issues.
