In Kazakhstan, a bailiff is suspected of receiving a bribe

The Anti-Corruption Agency of Kazakhstan suspects of taking a bribe of more than $5000 the acting head of the territorial department for the execution of judicial acts of Bostandyk district of Almaty’s Department of Justice.

As noted in the message, the bailiff received this remuneration from the head of a private company for not seizing his property and not informing the internal affairs authorities that he was not executing the court decision.

“The procedural detention was not applied in connection with the full admission of guilt and the petition of the suspect to end the pre-trial investigation in simplified proceeding. The final decision regarding the suspect with determination of his guilt will be made by the court,” the department noted.
