In Kyrgyzstan, law enforcement authorities lost 20 criminal cases

Prosecutor General office of the Kyrgyz Republic during the implementation of supervisory activity, reconciliation of suspended criminal cases was carried out under part 1 of paragraph 1 of article 221 “Suspended in connection with the search for the accused” of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The audit revealed the facts of the loss of 20 criminal cases (together with search cases), initiated for crimes of varying severity, attributed to the investigative unit of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.

The Prosecutor General’s office instituted criminal proceedings under the article “Negligence” and in order to comprehensively, objectively examine the circumstances of the case and give a legal assessment of the actions of officials involved in this fact, the materials were transferred to the State Committee for National Security.
