In Kyrgyzstan, another corrupt official was revealed

The Head of the department of Bishkek’s city hall, in collusion with other persons, received from the Public fund $28.7 thousand (2 million KGS) for a 7.2-hectare land plot for development in the capital’s housing estate “Kalys-Ordo”.

The investigation was able to establish that the Department’s Head of Bishkek’s municipality for personal selfish interests, using his official position, forged official documents and signatures of the mayor’s office leaders, as well as other state bodies for transferring land for individual development.

Currently, the Department’s Head and his partner in crime are placed in a temporary detention center and a pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. As part of the pre-trial proceedings, measures are being taken to establish the involvement of other persons, as well as similar facts.
