Kyrgyzstan: Police knock out four front teeth of a teenager during interrogation

The man turned to the human rights activists from “United World (Bir Duino)” for help in bringing to justice those who beat his son.

According to a resident of the city of Osh, this summer his son and his friend were detained on suspicion of hooliganism and robbery. They were taken to the police station, where police officers beat the young people to get evidence in the case. As a result, his son ended up in the hospital.

“He had a rupture of the soft tissues of the upper lip, four front teeth of the upper jaw were knocked out, there was a nose injury, abrasions, and bruises all over his body,” says the father of the victim.

While the young man is being treated, the inconsolable father is trying to bring the perpetrators to justice. For this purpose, he turned to human rights activists for legal assistance. They, in turn, helped him prepare a statement on the fact of torture.
