In Ust-Kamenogorsk, five unknown people attacked Anton Knyazev, a journalist from the Road Control information portal. It should be noted that this is the second attack on the journalists of the portal in the last month.
Anton Knyazev was attacked on the night of August 3-4 in one of the shops in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
According to the journalist himself, a company of drunken men not only severely beat him but damaged the car in which he arrived at the store.
During the scuffle, Knyazev managed to call the police. However, the duty group arrived at the place only half an hour after the call. By the time they arrived, the attackers were still beating the journalist and continued their attempts to injure him, despite the presence of representatives of the law.
According to the editors of the Road Control portal, on the eve of the incident, Knyazev made several reports from the Ulbino district police department, where the victims s of fraudsters applied.
“Police officers, judging by the report from the police department, were very nervous when they saw the video filmed by our journalist. Then a few more reports from the same police department, where for some reason the main entrance is closed, no one responds to the bell, at the gate grating. You can only get in through the “mysterious” entrance. It remains to be seen whether these events are connected with professional activities and with the incident of an attack on journalist Anton Knezev,” the editorial office noted.
Meanwhile, as reported by the Police Department of the East Kazakhstan region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the attack on Knyazev under the article “Hooliganism”.
It is also worth noting that over the past month this is the second attack on employees of the Road Control portal. On July 19, journalist Olesya Vertinskaya was attacked near her home in Atyrau. Some unknown guy approached her and asked for help. And then he hit her hard in the face. From the blow, Vertinskaya fell to the ground. However, this did not stop the attacker, and he continued to kick her. The journalist was rescued by her neighbor. He frightened off the attacker and called an ambulance. In the hospital, Vertinskaya was diagnosed with a broken nose.
Meanwhile, the editors of the portal reported that a few days before the attack, Vertinskaya received threats: she received a message from an unknown number, in which she was strongly recommended to be careful with a private company and its owner.
